In the first quarter of 2022, the top five educational games on the Android platform in Nigeria demonstrated a variety of performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an overview of how these apps fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Lingokids - Play and Learn saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $185 in mid-March and maintaining a consistent performance around the $120-$170 range for most of the quarter. Weekly downloads started strong with nearly 3K in late January but experienced a decline, settling around 1K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 4.6K in late December and fluctuating, eventually decreasing to 4.1K by the end of March.

LooLoo Kids - Nursery Rhymes experienced modest revenue fluctuations, peaking at $36 in late February. Downloads saw a gradual increase from 258 at the beginning of the quarter to 329 by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 400-460 mark throughout the quarter.

Keiki Learning games for Kids had minimal revenue, with a peak of $26 in early January. Downloads were highest in mid-January at 3.3K but dropped significantly, averaging below 100 for most of the quarter. Active users also saw a sharp rise to 2K in late January before declining to around 190 by the end of March.

KidloLand Kids & Toddler Games showed very modest revenue, peaking at $16 in early January. Downloads were relatively low, starting at 290 in late December and dropping to 52 by the end of March. Active users started at 389 in late December and gradually decreased to 174 by the end of March.

Montessori Preschool, kids 3-7 had negligible revenue and no notable downloads or active users reported during the quarter.
